I was recommended Paul by a neighbour who had a kitchen refit, thus I could see his quality of work at first-hand. From the first contact of requesting a quote through to job completion, he was extremely professional and considerate of my circumstances, two young children in the household, plus the kitchen and hallway flooring had to be relaid due to two water pipes leaking. As he had done such a splendid job, we asked Paul to lay laminate flooring down on the downstairs boards. Work was completed in the proposed and costed timeframe.

Based on Which Local reviews, I contacted Paul to do a number of carpentry jobs around the house. He eased all of the bedroom doors as I was having new carpets fitted. He eased a couple of cupboard doors on his own initiative that I forgot to mention to him. Paul also built a shelving/clothes-hanging unit for my son’s built-in cupboard and made some excellent suggestions. He also hung a new door and repaired another door. I found the quality of Paul‘s work to be excellent and he is neat and tidy.

As I had a list of things to be done, I asked Paul to quote his daily rate. He came in early in the morning as promised and worked through the day to get the job done. His price is fair in view of his work ethic.

I will be calling on Paul again.

I thoroughly recommend Concept Carpentry for kitchen installations. Paul did an impeccable job with great workmanship all around – there is absolutely nothing that I’m not happy with. He left the work area very neat every evening which minimised the disruption caused by such a major job. And on top of all that, both himself and the subcontractor for the electrical work were a pleasure to have working in the house, very friendly and good-humoured. All in all a very good value service and would use Concept Carpentry again without hesitation if I move house and need more work done!

My kitchen re-furb had to go back to the brickwork so it was quite a major task.

He was prompt, efficient, diligent, clean and organised. All the electrics, plastering, flooring, tiling, installation of new units, oven, sink, plumbing, etc. were carried out to a high standard and I love my kitchen. Further advice was available if required regarding colours, suitability, etc. Viewing can be arranged because I am so pleased with my new kitchen that I am happy to show it off.

Paul did a great job: gave an estimate when he said he would, the work started and finished on time and was carried out with the minimum of fuss. The doors look great and I have already recommended him to a friend.
